Ein E-Trolley ist für Golfer schon eine enorme Erleichterung. Trolleys mit elektrischem Antrieb und Akku helfen vor allen Dingen dann, wenn der Platz nicht ganz eben ist und man auf der Runde einige Höhenmeter zurücklegen muss. Eine 18 Loch-Runde ist an und für sich schon recht anstrengend. Eine Statistik sagt, dass man im Schnitt ca. 3 Schläge verliert, wenn man sein Golfbag trägt. Schieben oder ziehen hilft hier schon deutlich, aber die beste und angenehmste Art, seine Schläger über den Platz bewegen ist ein E-Trolley. Okay, wenn man mal von einem Caddy oder Golf-Cart absieht 🙂
Elektrische Trolleys gibt es in verschiedensten Varianten. Von günstigen Einsteigermodellen, die in der Regel recht schwer sind, bis hin zu topmodernen High-End-Varianten. Was alle Modelle gemeinsam haben, ist ein Elektromotor, der die Räder des Trolleys antreibt. So kann in der Regel auf Knopfdruck oder drehen am Griff die Geschwingkeit des E-Trolleys geregelt werden.
E-Trolley mit Fernbedienung
Einige elektrische Trolleys können sogar per Fernbedienung gesteuert werden. Das ermöglicht dem Spieler, den Trolley dorthin zu lenken, wo der Trolley hinfahren bzw parken soll. Das ist gerade dann Praktisch, wenn man zum Beispiel am Grün den Trolley um den Grünbunker herum zum Weg des nächsten Abschlags fahren kann. Ohne Fernbedienung müsste man den Weg um den Bunker herum mitlaufen und den Trolley in die entsprechende Richtung lenken.
Stopp-Automatik beim E-Trolley
Wichtig ist in diesem Zuge auch die Stopp-Automatik beim Trolley. Wenn ist der Antrieb aktiviert und der Spieler lässt den Trolley versehentlich los, fährt das Golfbag samt Schläger einfach weiter geradeaus. Das ist besonders unangenehm, wenn Bunker oder gar Wasserhindernisse im Weg liegen. Und um nasse Golfbags zu vermeiden, haben die meisten angetriebenen Trolleys eine Stopp-Automatik. Wird der Trolley losgelassen, fährt er selbstständig noch einige Meter und bleibt dann automatisch stehen.
Akkus für E-Trolleys
Grundsätzlich kann ein Großteil der Akkus in zwei Kategorien eingeteilt werden: Lithium-Akkus und Blei-Gel-Akkus. Blei-Gel-Akkus sind dabei die “Klassiker”. Sie sind schwer (ca. 8-10 KG), aber dafür relativ günstig zu haben. Gute Modelle mit einer hohen Kapazität können mitunter 27 Loch am Stück aushalten. Die moderneren und teureren Lithium-Akkus sind wesentlich leichter und halten ebenso bei guter Kapazität auch 27 Loch am Stück aus. Lithium-Akkus haben den Vorteil, dass sie sich kaum selbst entladen und auf lange Zeit gesehen auch länger haltbar sind, als Blei-Gel-Akkus.
