Grundsätzlich kann man zwischen vier groben Arten von Golfbags unterscheiden. Da gibt es die kleinen tragbaren Pencilbags, die Carrybags, die Cartbags und die Tourbags. Wo die Unterschiede der 4 Bag-Arten liegen, erkläre ich euch jetzt:
Pencilbag
Das Pencilbag ist sehr klein und handlich, passt super in den Kofferraum und ist auf dem Platz leicht zu tragen. Es eignet sich super für eine schnelle 9 Loch-Runde, bei der man nicht zwangsläufig alle Schläger benötigt. Denn da kommen wir auch schon zu den Minuspunkten des Pencilbags. Da es sehr klein ist, bietet es kaum Platz für 14 Schläger + Bälle + was man sonst noch so mit auf die Runde nimmt. Wer schonmal zu viele Schläger in eine zu kleine Tasche gesteckt hat, kennt die Probleme beim herausziehen der Schläger. Irgendetwas verkantet sich immer und im Endeffekt leert man versehentlich das halbe Bag aus. Daher ist das Pencilbag für schnelle Runden, ohne großes Besteck und Gepäck geeignet.
Carrybag
Die Carry- oder Tragebags sind deutlich größer, als die Pencilbags und bieten Platz für das gesamte Schlägerset samt übriger Ausrüstung. Carrybags haben in der Regel kleine ausklappbare Beinchen am Bag. Unten an der Tasche ist ein kleiner Mechanismus, der bei Bodenberührung die Beine ausklappt und man die Tasche bequem abstellen und einen Schläger wählen kann. Zudem hat man Tragegurte, um sich das Bag bequem auf den Rücken schnallen zu können. Der sportliche Golfer trägt sein Bag über zig Runden ohne Probleme. Man bekommt alles rein, was man für eine Runde benötigt und es ist dennoch relativ handlich. Wenn man allerdings zig Bälle und ein zwei Flaschen Wasser mit im Bag hat, kann die Carrybag im Laufe der Runde allerdings ziemlich schwer werden und womöglich die Schultern und den Rücken belasten. Ich habe mal einen Artikel gelesen der besagt, dass man pro Runde 2-3 Schläge verliert, wenn man die Tasche trägt. Einfach dadurch, dass Schultern und Rücken schneller ermüden und so den Schwung beeinflussen.
Zudem hat man mitunter einige Probleme, wenn man das Carrybag auf einem Trolley befestigen möchte, da der Standmechanismus oftmals im Weg ist.
Das Standbag ist allerdings dennoch der Allrounder unter den Golfbags und darf meiner Meinung bei keinem Golfer fehlen.
Cartbag
Cartbags sind nochmal größer als das Standbag und bieten noch mehr Platz für Schläger und Zubehör. Sie passen ideal auf den Golftrolley und können dort bestens befestigt werden. Meist haben Cartbags einzelne Divider, also Fächer für die Schläger, wogegen Carrybags oft größere Divider haben, in die mehrere Schläger auf einmal reinkommen. In das Cartbag passen neben der Golfausrüstung auch noch locker die Regenkleidung, sowie genug Proviant für Golfrunde, oder zwei. Ich persönlich habe dort alles für ein 36-Loch-Turnier, sowie einen 24 Stunden Golfmarathon unterbekommen. Von daher ist der Stauraum schon enorm.
Ihr solltet nur nicht versuchen, ein beladenes Cartbag mal eine Runde zu tragen. Auch wenn ein Schultergurt mit dabei ist. Das ist dann wirklich ziemlich schwer. Es passt auch nicht mehr so ganz locker in den Kofferraum des Autos, wobei das natürlich auch immer vom Auto abhängt 🙂
Tourbag
Das Tourbag ist quasi der große Bruder des Cartbags und ist die Spitzenausstattung der Golfbags. Einmal die gleiche Tasche wie die Profis benutzen. Aber braucht man das? Die Tourbags bieten sicherlich nochmal einen Ticken mehr Platz, als die Cartbags, aber man sollte ja auch nicht seinen halben Hausstand mit auf den Golfplatz nehmen. Vom Design her gibt es wirklich wunderschöne Tourbags, aber ohne Caddy und Werbevertrag ist es eher nichts für den normalen Freizeitgolfer.
Fazit
Ich würde zweigleisig fahren und mir sowohl ein Carrybag, als auch ein Cartbag zulegen. Für den Anfang reicht sicherlich das Carrybag, aber wenn man oft und regelmäßig spielt, weiß man die Vorteile eines Cartbags schon sehr zu schätzen.
