Golf Spikes lösen - Tipps und Tricks

Golf Spikes lösen ist gar nicht so leicht, wenn man wie ich damit wartet, bis die Spikes komplett abgenutzt sind. Eigentlich sollte ja ein Spikeschlüssel in die dafür vorgesehenen Löcher packen und zusätzlich noch die Spikes an sich greifen. Was aber tun, wenn die Spikes praktisch nicht mehr vorhanden sind (bei Reifen sagt man glaube ich Slicks) und die Löcher entweder voller Steinchen sind, oder ausreißen?

Diese Frage habe ich vor ein paar Tagen auf meiner Facebook-Seite von Birdiesüchtig gestellt und darüber super antworten bekommen, die euch dabei helfen Golf Spikes zu lösen:

  • Wenn Steinchen in den Spikelöchern stecken, nehmt Druckluft aus dem Club und pustet die Löcher frei
  • Wenn auch das nicht hilft, empfehle ich einen kleinen Schraubendrehen. Am besten einen Schlitzdreher. Dann vorsichtig die Steinchen heraushebeln
  • Sitzt zuviel Schmutz und Schlamm im Gewinde, hilft es oft, den Schuh in Wasser einzuweichen. Dazu ein Waschbecken mit warmen Wasser füllen und den Schuh mit der Sohle nach unten wie ein Schiffchen darauf schwimmen lassen. Bei mir haben 5 Minuten ausgereicht, damit ich einen Großteil der Golf Spikes lösen konnte.
  • Sollte auch das nicht helfen, könnt ihr eine spitze Schraube in den Spike drehen und anschließend mit einer Zange den Spike aus dem Gewinde hebeln. Hier müsst ihr vorsichtig sein, das ihr erstens den Schuh nicht mit der Schraube beschädigt, sondern nur den Spike erwischt. Und beim Heraushebeln auch aufpassen, das ihr das Gewinde nicht beschädigt. Mit Gefühl 🙂
  • Sollte das alles nicht helfen, sucht im Netz nach Spezial-Spike-Schlüsseln für den Notfall.

Bei mir ging es leider nur mit den kleinen Schrauben
Hat super funktioniert. Blöd ist, das man nicht weiß wann der Spike rechtzeitig getauscht werden muss.
