Welchen Golftrolley brauche ich?

Die GolfbagsWas gehört ins Golfbag? der Profispieler gleichen mehr oder weniger einem ganzen Koffer. Sie sind groß und schwer und prall gefüllt. Aber was braucht man wirklich auf einer Golfrunde im Golfbag abgesehen von den Schlägern?

Zunächst einmal ist da das Zubehör für die Runde:

Fangen wir mal mit den wichtigsten Dingen an. Ihr braucht auf alle Fälle einen ordentlichen

Golfhandschuh

Gut, streng genommen ist der Handschuh nicht im Bag, sondern an eurer Hand, aber ein Ersatzhandschuh kann auch sehr sinnvoll sein. Zum Beispiel wenn es anfängt zu regnen, ist es toll, wenn man einen Regenhandschuh im Bag hat.

Tee

Als nächstes sind die Tees an der Reihe. Ihr solltet immer einen Beutel Tees dabei haben. Dort gibt es kürzere und längere Tees. Die längeren werden für den Driver verwendet und die kürzeren für Eisen und Hölzer. Also je nachdem, mit welchem Schläger ihr bevorzugt vom Tee spielt, solltet ihr auch eure Tees auswählen.

Ich würde empfehlen, bei den kurzen Tees welche aus Holz zu nutzen. Plastiktees verrotten auf dem Golfplatz nicht, wenn sie kaputt oder verloren gehen, Holztees dagegen schon. Ein bisschen sollte man ja auch an die Umwelt denken. Allerdings habe ich festgestellt, dass grüne und schwarze Holztees gerne mal im dichten grünen Gras verschwinden. Daher rate ich zu einfachen weißen Holztees.

Bei den langen Tees nutze ich meistens Plastik. Denn die großen Tees gehen nicht so schnell verloren und halten bei mir auch deutlich länger, als die langen Holztees.  

Pitchgabel

Ein aufmerksamer Ranger kontrolliert vor jedem Start eure Pitchgabel. Mit der Pitchgabel könnt ihr Pitchmarken von den Grüns entfernen und so lästige Dellen in eurer Puttlinie verhindern. Je nachdem auf was für Plätzen ihr spielt, könnt ihr entweder Plastik-Pitchgabeln oder welche aus Metall nutzen. Ich spiele oft auf einem Platz mit harten Grüns, wo günstige Plastik-Pitchgabeln oft an ihre Grenzen kommen und zerbrechen. Daher nutze ich immer eine Metall-Pitchgabel mit dünnen Zinken, um besser in den Boden zu kommen.

Golfbälle

Je nach Platz und Spielstärke sollte man schon einige Bälle mit auf die Runde nehmen. Ich erinnere mich an einen Web.com Tour-Spieler, der in 2 Runden glatte 32 Bälle in den Wind geschossen hat! Gut, ganz so wild wird es wahrscheinlich nicht werden, aber so 10 Bälle habe ich schon immer griffbereit. Welcher Ball zu deiner Spielstärke passt, kannst du hier nachlesen.

Ballmarker und Stift

Man sollte in der Tasche auch immer einen Ballmarker parat haben, um seinen Ball auf dem Grün markieren zu können. Noch praktischer natürlich direkt in der Hosentasche. Sehr beliebt sind übrigens Pokerchips als Marker!

Zum Ballmarker passt auch ein wasserfester Stift, mit dem man seinen Ball kennzeichnen kann und eventuell noch einen Strich darauf zeichnet. Dieser Strich kann super bei der Ausrichtung beim Putten helfen.

Handtuch

Das Handtuch im Golfbag kannst du gleich mehrfach nutzen. Du kannst damit sowohl die Schläger und die Schlagfläche, als auch die Golfbälle säubern. Und wenn du zum Beispiel dafür nur die untere Hälfte nutzt, kannst du die obere Hälfte des Handtuchs z.B. zum Schweißabtupfen verwenden.

Kleiner Tipp: Mach vor der Runde eine Ecke des Handtuchs nass. So bekommst du den Schmutz besser vom Schlägerblatt und den Bällen ab.

Schlägerbürste

Wenn du wirklich hartnäckigen Dreck in den Grooves deiner Schläger hast, könnte eine Schlägerbürste helfen. Normalerweise bekommt man mit dem Handtuch schon fast alles sauber, aber manchmal muss man gröber ran. Schlägerbürsten gibt es mit normalen Plastik-, aber auch mit Metallborsten. Wer nicht mit einer Bürste über seine Schlagfläche bürsten möchte, um Kratzer zu vermeiden, kann auch einfach ein Tee für die Reinigung der Grooves nutzen.

Entfernungsmesser

Der Entfernungsmesser ist schon ein weniger in der Kategorie Fortgeschritten. Wenn man langsam sowas wie Konstanz in die Schläge kriegt, macht es unglaublich viel Sinn zu wissen, wie weit man schlagen kann und wie weit es noch bis zur Fahne ist. Es gibt nur wenig was ärgerlicher ist, als ein Schlag, der genau auf die Fahne zufliegt und dann plötzlich 15m zu kurz ist, weil man das falsche Eisen genommen hat. Da schaffen zwei schöne Helferlein Abhilfe. Der GPS Entfernungsmesser als Uhr oder Voice Buddy und der Laser-Entfernungsmesser.

Die GPS-Uhr

Wenn man sowieso eine Uhr trägt, sind GPS-Uhren super praktisch. Ein schneller Blick aufs Handgelenk und schon hat man die richtige Entfernung zum Grün. Für den Einstieg sind sie super, haben aber einige Vor- und Nachteile.

Der Laser-Entfernungsmesser

Mit dem Laser lassen sich leicht alle Hindernisse und Gegenstände auf dem Platz ausmessen. Ja, sogar der Flight vor einem auf der Bahn kann gelasert werden. Der Golflaser kostet in der Regel ein wenig mehr, als eine Uhr und das Vermessen dauert länger, aber dafür bekommt man exakte Werte angezeigt.

Rundenverpflegung

So eine 18-Loch-Runde kann schon mal ein paar Stündchen dauern. Da ist es ratsam sich genügend Wasser und einige Snacks einzupacken. Von den Profis werden übrigens Nussmischung und Obst für die Runde sehr geschätzt, da Süßkram wie Schokoriegel kurzfristig den Insulinspiegel deutlich nach oben treiben und Leberkäsbrötchen dann doch ziemlich schwer im Magen liegen. Ich weiß wovon ich spreche 🙂

Golf-Regenschirm

Der Regenschirm darf in keinem Golfbag fehlen. Leider spielt das Wetter nicht immer so und kann sich auf dem Platz auch schnell mal ändern. Da ist man heilfroh, wenn man einen guten und stabilen Golfschirm dabei hat, um sich und seine Ausrüstung trocken zu halten. Tipp von mir: Achtet darauf, dass der Schirm groß genug ist, um euch und euer Bag zu schützen. Zudem solltet ihr hier nicht geizen und ein robustes Modell kaufen. Denn Windböen zerlegen günstige Schirme schneller als man “Knack” sagen kann. Gute Golfschirme haben entweder eine Federung oben, die das Umschlagen verhindert, oder sie haben oben Lüftungsschlitze, die zwar Wind aber keinen Regen durchlassen.
