Wie ist der OptiShot 2 Golfsimulator im Test?

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Ich hatte für einige Tage das große Glück, den OptiShot 2 Pro bei mir Zuhause testen zu dürfen! Der OptiShot 2 Pro ist ein Golfsimulator für den Heimgebrauch. OptiShot 2 Golfsimulator im TestMan schließt das Pad einfach an einen PC oder Mac an, lädt die Software runter und schon kann es losgehen!
Getrackt werden die Schläge über Infrarot-Schienen im Pad. Dabei ist wichtig zu verstehen, dass die Sensoren im Prinzip nur den Schläger messen, nicht jedoch den Ball. Anhand der Schlägerkopfgeschwindigkeit, der Winkel etc wird dann der Ballflug berechnet. Der Ball an sich spielt hierfür also keine Rolle. Das hat übrigens den Vorteil, das man auch ohne Ball spielen kann! Klingt erstmal komisch, aber wenn man mal einen Schaumstoffball quer durchs Wohnzimmer auf ne Blumenvase geschossen hat, weiß man das doch zu schätzen.

Aber fangen wir nochmal vorne an: Das Setup des OptiShot 2 Pro

 

Das stabile Pad mit den Sensoren läßt sich kinderleicht per USB-Kabel an einen PC oder Mac anschließen. Die Software ist auch schnell geladen und bietet neben der Driving Range auch einige komplette Golfplätze und eine Online-Funktion an.
Es ist allerdings sehr wichtig, das ihr eine ausreichende Deckenhöhe habt!! Denn wer keine Löcher in der Decke mag, sollte mindestens die eigene Körpergröße x 1,5 an Höhe zur Verfügung haben. Ich bin daher für die ganzen Schwünge und meine Testrunden auf die überdachte Terrasse ausgewichen und habe drinnen nur gechippt und geputtet.
Ist alles aufgebaut, sollte man vor dem Start noch seine Schläger kalibrieren. Dafür führt man seine Schläger langsam über die Sensoren. Erst gerade, dann geöffnet, dann geschlossen. Hat man alle Schläger durch, kann es dann auch losgehen!

Das klassische Training auf der Driving Range lässt sich mit dem OptiShot 2 Pro auch abbilden. Dort wählt man den Range Modus, wählt den Schläger aus, den man verwendet und schon kann es losgehen:

Da ich auch dringend den Spielmodus testen wollte, habe ich Kai für eine Runde Golf eingeladen. Wir haben uns schnell auf einen Platz geeinigt und konnten dann auch direkt loslegen.
Der Spielmodus ist schon sehr spaßig und selbst das Putten ging erstaunlich gut! Erst ist es ziemlich komisch, da man so garkein Gefühl für die Entfernung hat. Aber wenn man sich daran ein wenig gewöhnt hat, ist es ein riesen Spaß und es entstehen packende Matchplays!
Wir waren uns allerdings nicht so ganz sicher, ob die Schläge wirklich so präzise abgebildet werden. Gefühlt sind die Bälle alle deutlicher gesliced, als auf dem echten Platz. Aber da wir ja ohne Ball gespielt haben, konnte ich das nicht verifizieren und möchte es als Bauchgefühl bezeichnen. Dazu kommt, das wir nicht so ideale Beleuchtung hatten. Laut Spezifikationen sind die Sensoren nämlich ziemlich genau.

Alles in allem macht der OptiShot 2 Pro ziemlich viel Spaß und bietet allen Golfverrückten die Möglichkeit auch in den eigenen vier Wänden der Sucht zu fröhnen. Natürlich vorausgesetzt, die Decken sind hoch genug 😉
